Bhindi Masala Fry | Ladies Finger Fry

Bhindi masala fry /ladies finger fry is prepared with some Indian spices like red chilli powder, turmeric powder, jeera powder and garam masala along with these spices some chopped onions, mustard seeds and curry leaves goes in it. 


Let see some health benefits of ladies finger or bhindi. Ladies finger is one of the richest sources of potassium, folic acid, vitamin B, vitamin C, fibre and calcium.

It helps to treat diabetes, protects the heart, Aids cancer prevention and improves vision, promotes digestion and it is good for skin health too - style craze

PREPARATION TIME  : 5 MINS

COOKING TIME           : 10 MINS

TOTAL.                           : 15 MINS


INGREDIENTS

  • 200 gm Ladies finger
  • 1 onion 
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1/4 tsp jeera powder 
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala 
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil

METHOD

1. Take one kadai and heat oil

2. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let it crackle 

3. Add curry leaves and chopped onion and saute for 2 - 3 mins

4. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, jeera powder, garam masala and salt and mix well 

5. Add cutted ladies finger and saute well .. Saute till the stickiness goes away (it will take around 5 to 7 mins) 

6. Bhindi masala fry is ready to serve


How to make Bhindi masala fry step by step with pictures



Heat oil in a kadai and put mustard seeds and cumin seeds .... Wait till it crackles



Put chopped onion and curry leaves and saute for 2 - 3 mins



Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, jeera powder, garam masala and salt and mix it well



Add cut ladies finger and saute well till  the stickiness goes away (it will take around 5 - 7 mins) 


Once it is cooked well then switch off the heat 



   Serve it in a plate. Its a good side dish for rice and chapatis
