Masala prawns fry/shrimp fry

Masala prawns fry is a mixture of spices, onion, tomatoes and curry leaves.... It is a south Indian dish.


There are varieties of prawn dishes and masala prawns fry is one of them.... The mixture of spices, when combined with prawns, gives you a perfect yummy taste.

PREPARATION TIME : 5 MINS

COOKING TIME              : 15 MINS

TOTAL                               : 20 MINS

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 gm prawns
  • 1 onion 
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2+1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste 
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1 green chilli 
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala 
  • 1/4 tsp jeera powder 
  • 1/4 tsp coriander powder 
  • Curry leaves one string 
  • Coriander leaves a little bit
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp +1tsp oil 

METHOD


In a bowl add prawns, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and salt and mix it well and marinade for 30 minutes 


Take one kadai. Heat 1 tsp oil and put the marinated prawns into it 


        Saute well till it gets dries


Meanwhile, take another pot to add 2 tsp oil and add chopped onions saute for 2 mins. Next, add ginger garlic paste and saute it


Put chopped tomatoes and green chilli saute nicely 



Add all dry spices( red chilli powder, garam masala, jeera powder, coriander powder) and cook for 1 minute.



Add prawns which we cooked earlier and saute for 1 min



Next, put some curry leaves and mix it well



At last, add some coriander leaves and switch off the flame


Masala prawns fry is ready to serve
